The Village’s October 16 Lee County update reports ongoing paving, drainage and utility work. The stated completion estimate is now late spring 2027 because of additional utility work and relocation delays.
For your everyday life: Check the latest project notice before touring east of I-75. The October 16 notice schedules work at Corkscrew and Alico October 23–26, including overnight Corkscrew lane closures and one-lane Alico traffic. Schedules may change.

Opening scheduledThree Oaks extension: opening celebration scheduled
Lee County announced a November 2 ribbon cutting for the Three Oaks Parkway Extension. The project extends Three Oaks across Fiddlesticks Canal to Daniels Parkway, with four lanes, bicycle lanes and sidewalks.
For your everyday life: The County says the new portion will be open after the ribbon cutting, while remaining intersection, paving and striping work continues. Test your actual route after opening; final project completion is scheduled for early 2027.

The City announced an October 29, 7:30 p.m. ribbon cutting for Banyan Square and its splash pad at 27381 Old 41 Road. The fountain includes daytime play features and lighting for choreographed evening shows.
For your everyday life: The City also lists Halloween fountain shows October 22–31. Confirm current fountain hours and event access with the City before visiting; an event announcement does not establish ongoing daily operating hours.

Construction noticeEast Terry Street: understand the construction route
A City notice dated September 28 scheduled an October 6 traffic shift along East Terry Street between Imperial Parkway and I-75 to prepare for stormwater, water and wastewater improvements on the north side.
